Maritime SCM and Shipbuilding - Changing Ideas with the Next Generation

Intelligence Hunt is a company and student competition project lasting three months. The project invites talented students from universities all over Europe, professional mentors with long and wide industry and service experience and matches them with the Case Companies in real business case assignments.

By the end of September we had received almost 100 applications from talented and enthusiastic young students. The selection process was tough and finally 46 students were qualified.

In the beginning of October the finalists were divided into ten international cross-faculty teams and introduced to the Case Companies and the work on Case Assignments started with the kick-off meetings.

The teams have been working now on the case assignments hard for three months and have submitted their executive summaries for the case companies to approve. The executive summaries will be delivered to the IntelligenceHunt6 Jury 15.1. CET 10.00 am.

The teams will be pitching their solution to the given task at the IntelligenceHunt6 Finals, January 22, 2020, in Turku, in conjunction with the NaviGate 2020 Maritime Trade Fair. So the project gives the audience also a hackathon kind of an experience, even the work has been comparable to a small consulting project time wise.
