Dr Rolf Neise is currently working as a freelance consultant supporting multinational companies to optimize their supply chain management and logistics structures and as a lecturer at the International School of Management (ISM).
Dr Neise is one of the Inspiring Speakers of the IntelligenceHunt6 Finals. He will speak about "Shipper's Voice: Case Study Blue Chip and a Carrier". He will also moderate the Award Ceremony in the evening, where the winners will be announced.
He has written many books for a well-known international publisher Kogan Page on container logistics, supply chain, industry trends impacting shippers among others.
Prior to that Dr Neise was working as the Global Head of Logistics Operations at BAT (British American Tobacco plc.), in charge of defining BAT’s Logistics Strategy in the End-to-End Supply Chain. He held a number of operational and strategic roles across the BAT group in Germany and in the UK and was an essential member of the first truly global organizational set up in BAT, the Global Leaf Pool. Rolf majored in economic engineering at the Technical University Berlin and wrote his doctoral thesis on transport logistics at the University of Stuttgart.
Prior to BAT, Dr Neise worked in several consultancies where he collected in-depth experience in reorganization and optimization projects in different industries (automotive, telecommunication, chemistry) and companies across the world.
