Recognition Award for a Student Team from the Shipowners´ Foundation in Finland


The Board of the Shipowners´ Foundation in Finland has decided to award a grant of EUR 2,000 to one of the student teams participating in the Intelligence Hunt 6 project.


This grant is a Recognition Award, the criteria of which are jointly determined by the Shipowners´ Foundation in Finland and SeaFocus. The Shipowners´ Foundation in Finland will be represented in the Jury of the Intelligence Hunt 6. The Recognition Award will be paid directly to the students.


The Finals will take place January 22nd 2020, in Turku in conjuntion with the NaviGate2020 Maritime Trade Fair.


The Shipowners´ Foundation in Finland was established by the Finnish Shipowners’ Association in 2008. The Foundation strives to support research and education in the shipping industry and raise awareness about shipping in the Finnish society.


The primary purpose of the Foundation is to work for the benefit of the Finnish shipping business by promoting social activities related to shipping and by awarding grants. The Foundation also strives to participate in research, education, and communication within the shipping industry.
