Shipowners´ Foundation - Institutional Partner
The Shipowners´ Foundation in Finland was established 2008. Its main purpose is to support shipping and the business in relation thereto through an active promotion into education, research and communication within the spheres of shipping. The opportunities to act according to its goals, the Foundation tends in particular to support activities that connects the shipping industry to topical issues within the society as well as within the maritime cluster.

For instance, during 2014 and 2015 the Foundation financed a research project regarding the future of shipping in Finland ”Fairway to the Future – The future of shipping in Finland 2015 and beyond” – The report presents the conclusions of a research programme conducted by PBI Research Institute.
The Shipowners´ Foundation in Finland has contributed a scholarship to the Winner teams of the IntelligenceHunt projects 1 and 2 in 2017 and now project 4 in Autumn 2018.
