Mr STEFAN VIEHMANN works for Kuehne + Nagel, which is one of the world’s leading logistics companies. Today, the Kuehne + Nagel Group has approximately 76,000 employees at some 1,300 locations in over 100 countries.
Mr Viehmann joined Kuehne + Nagel Ltd. Canada as Vice President IT and CIO in 2007. He managed successfully a customer orientated IT organization serving all business fields of the Kuehne + Nagel group in Canada in close collaboration with the global IT group. Viehmann is uniquely qualified to bridge the gap between the business units and information technology.
Since February 2012 Mr Viehmann is responsible for the Global Customer Solutions group with its corporate and de-central teams located in each regional headquarter.
Until 2007 he worked for DHL as Director Customer Integration Services where he was responsible for establishing a professional service organization to manage the electronic interfaces between global customers and DHL. From 2002 - 2003 he was a Manager eCommerce at DHL and was responsible for the end to end automation of sales and services via several electronic channels.
Prior to DHL, he worked for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as senior consultant focusing on Financial Service Industries. In 1998 Viehmann worked in the product development department at Lufthansa Cargo AG. He started his career as a trainee at Boehringer Mannheim, Tokyo Japan in 1996.
From 2008 until 2013 he served as director of the board of the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Inc., Toronto.
Mr Viehmann holds a M.B.A degree from Marburg University, Germany. He also serves as president of the Lionsclub Hamburg Elbphilharmonie.
