William Crews

is presently the President/Owner of his own security consulting practice, Security & Resilience Consulting LLC in Houston, Texas.  He has been in senior security management roles in both the public and private sectors.  While working in the US government he served in senior roles at the Department of State (U.S. Information Agency & US Agency for International Development), the Naval Research Laboratory, the White House and NASA.  His private sector work included work with the privately held Koch Industries and the Port of Houston Authority.

 

Mr Crew’s position as the Director of Port Security & Emergency Operations for the Port of Houston Authority had him responsible for all homeland security programs in the 6th largest port in the world and the 3rd largest in the United States.  He has extensive experience with maritime regulatory protocols for security including the Marine Transportation Security Act and the International Ship & Port Security code.
